What was my holiday like? Well, i had all last week off work and was home working on freelance stuff most of the time.. and playing Metroid Prime (which kicks ass and if you are playing it please tell me how to beat Mogenar!! i'm so stuck!) Then this 3 day weekend was supposed to be pretty laid back but alas...gavin has strep throat.
He's been sick since saturday...fever of 104, unable to eat .. the whole nine yards.
He's been home and i've been nursing him back to health and all that. Sans the tight nurses' outfit unfortunately since i've been feeling under the weather myself all week. Went to the dr and they told me i lucked out and don't have strep throat BUT that doesn't mean i wont get it..so if i feel worse i have to go back for another strep test...joy.
Our anniversary is this weekend and we made reservations for Gramercy again and have been looking forward to it for months. If you've ever eaten at Gramercy Tavern, in the dining room, you know it's the kind of place that makes a dinner feel like a vacation. Also going there on our anniversary has become a thing and I really don't want to have to cancel.
Gavs on drugs and i'm starting to feel a little better.. so hopefully we'll still make our dinner. *fingers crossed*
